Spax Adjustable Shock Absorbers

Uprated twelve position adjustable shock absorbers from one of Britain's most respected companies in this field. These will further improve the suspension dynamics of your MGF and once fitted will allow you to fine tune the ride/handling compromise with a turn of a screwdriver. Suitable for both front and rear. Although supplied individually, we strongly recommend that they are fitted in pairs. Note: It has recently come to our attention that the bodyshell will need reinforcement at the rear, as some cars have shown that fatigue cracks can spread out from the rear shock absorber mounting bracket, due to loads higher than anticipated by MG/Rover engineers being transmitted through the bodyshell. Setting your spax shock absorbers to four or five clicks should be stiff enough for road use. If however, you want to use the car on the track and set the shocks above six clicks, the body will need to be strengthened as this can put the car under stresses above the design engineer's tolerances.
