Designed by A.R.E. these heatshields are highly recommended for better performance where high temperatures are an operating issue. Adding a heatshield can prevent fuel percolation, leading to hard starts or stalling. Stainless Steel has high heat deflection rate and also enhances the appearance of the engine compartment. Requires the installation of two extra carb to manifold gaskets (BHH1992), one on each side of heatshield, as the heatshield mounts between air filters and carbs.
