Moss Sports Performance Exhaust Systems - MGB

These Moss Sports Performance Exhaust systems are specifically designed for each model and are manufactured in 304 grade stainless steel with a mirror polished tail pipe. To get the best out of them they should be used with one of our tubular extractor manifolds although can be fitted to standard systems.

Using large bore pipes improves gas flow in a manifold, although contrary to this, the exhaust system should not be too large as this can cause a power reduction. Additional power can be gained by removing the front box, but this also creates additional noise, which is not always desirable.

Designed using large bore 1 7/8" pipe work (standard pipe work is 1 3/4"), which has been found to be the optimum diameter to give maximum power benefits for 'road' tuned 1800cc to fully modified 1995cc engines. The design uses a single large capacity rear silencer that gives a sporty exhaust note and improved ground clearance for lowered cars. This system is a direct fit and works well with either the Moss 'Works ST' Extractor Manifold - STR630 or the Moss Sports Extractor Manifold - TT10730. It can be fitted to a standard down pipe or tubular manifold if desired using a link pipe.
