Fan Conversion Kit

Triumph's original metal cooling fan was poorly designed and wholly inadequate for modern day driving conditions. For fear of overheating, we've all planned trips around weather and traffic conditions. By substituting a shorter hub extension, it's possible to fit the far superior TR6 style 7 or 8 blade yellow plastic fans. With improved air flow at low speeds, your TR will now be better able to handle heat and slow traffic. Of course, a fan alone cannot overcome other cooling system problems. Make sure your radiator, thermostat, water pump and cooling passages through the engine are all in proper order.

Unfortunately, new fans which use this hub are no longer available. Fans which may be used are TR250, TR6 and GT6 seven and eight blade yellow plastic fans from 1968 through 1971. Kit includes all the hardware necessary to install the fan (grommets, nuts, bolts, lock tabs), but does not include the fan itself.
