Notes: 1.004" ext. dia. For 3 synchro gearbox models (1958-68) none of the 4 synchro flywheel housings can be used. When fitting an A Series idler gear to A+ housing, use DAM3745 which has a special sleeve. DAM3745 has a pre A+ inner diameter and A+ outer diameter, meaning you can use the large A+ housing with a smaller pre A+ idler gear. If you are unsure what is original for your car, you can check the size required by measuring the bearing location in the flywheel housing (to get the external diameter for the idler bearing) and measure the idler gear shaft diameter (to get the internal diameter required).
